The best car never made by Peugeot, my 106 had 22 years old 220 000 kms and I never had a problem with her 👍👍👍

I drove one with the 60bhp 1.1 engine and it went really well and handled nicely. Only thing is, on the RHD models, if you have big feet like me, it's really tough to press the gas because of wheel arch intrusion.

Also, although relatively plentiful on British roads, most 106s here are ropey now.

The 1.4 must be an absolute blast in such a light car.

Very nice driving. I have the 106 II with 60hp. I am impressed how fast it goes with the stock engine. On the Highway it goes 180kmh according to speedometer. I like this little car and how simple it is

I had a 1.1 independence for my first car, Ended up putting some 205 gti 1.6 pepper pot wheels on it, I learnt to heal and toe in that car man and got the back end loose a handful of times recently Ive been wanting a small revvy engine and manual box, I currently drive a polo gti with a dsg box but you can't beat the driver involvement of a manual! These cars taught you how to drive haha

Cool car, probably great with the larger 1.4L. The gear lever looks solid and the gear changes smooth, unlike many I've seen firsthand...

La 106 est une bonne voiture, la mienne (1.0i 50 hp) totalise déjà 231 100 kms avec ses 20 ans, et ça tient la route ! ;-) Bon malgré la motorisation assez "faible" ça roule correctement, facile à conduire, seul bémol le volant un peu éloigné (avis perso).

I have the same car but with 1.0l engine. It has almost zero toque but its very reliable car.

Excelente auto qu'est la 106. Attention toute fois au train arriere qui a tendance a flancher avec les années. La bobine d'allumage de ce moulin est également assez fragile.
Personellement j'ai une 106 RC :) 🇫🇷
