I was looking at 1980 & 2011 for both Gold & Silver. It looks like they were moving up in Diagonals for 1-2 years, then took off in insane Impulsive Euphoric 5th waves... Especially Silver looks alot now like it did in 2010 before it went parabolic...
I'm guessing at some point both Gold & Silver leave these diagonals behind and shoot up like bamboo...

I think higher degree 1st wave is still unfolding & we're on the 5th wave. The higher degree 2nd wave looks too shallow
