There is a way to use the Ardour output without having to route all the channels. You can route it from the master bus in Ardour. Go to the master track in Ardour and click the output button at the bottom of the track in the Mixer Window. Open the "Routing Grid" from the menu and in the window that opens up go to the "Other" tab and add the left/right master output to the Jack Input Client located in that section.

a probably easier way is creating system monitors then output system monitors to obs (jack input client) rather than copying all of your routing

Hey, I came here because my stupid eyes didn't see "JACK Input Client" from "Add" menu. With your video, I realized that it was already there, visible as fuck.

But I have to say that it is not "confusing as fuck" to make OBS works with Jack. If you choose to use Jack, then you have to know how to use Jack. You create an Jack input and OBS creates a Jack module. That is all what OBS has to do. Then, you have to connect it to anything you want using Catia or Claudia or the one I use: Patchage.

Anyway, thanks.
