There's nothing that made NASA say NO to China and our space station.
The fact is, China wanted to be part of the International space station, BUT the US government flatly denied them ANY & ALL access to the so called International space station "INDEFINITELY", specifically as a way of playing games and penalizing them because of something China did years ago.
I don't remember all the details, I just remember reading about it years ago, and it struck me as absolutely ridiculous child games being played by the US government in denying them access FOREVER...
Look it up and read about it and you'll see for yourself how our government is playing childish games with it.

So, they built their own and did it themselves. Far surpassing us. Additionally, their currently planning a trip to Mars, and will certainly have men on Mars before we do. No doubt about it.

You information is incorrect.

The Chinese space station has been around since 2021. Not 2023.

But it evolved into it's current form in October 2022. (It is still evolving)

According to Britannica Encyclopedia, the 1st crewed mission to the Chinese space station was in June 2021.

That 1st mission in 2021 was made up of 3 Taikonauts. And they stayed in the space station for 90 days.

That was 3.5 years ago!
