For anyone confused, its merely rolling the center of gravity around an object like your hand or any other limb.

Go grab a household broom, grab roughly around the center of the handle, let it sit on top of your open hand with your palm facing upwards for a second, adjust higher or lower until it can sit on top of your hand without grabbing it, ( you dont necessarily have to be at that point but the closer to that spot the easier it is)

now close your hand for a second and flip it, open your hand as it starts to get to the edge of your hand/ rotation you just let it essentially roll over the back of your hand slightly above your knuckles (may need to counter rotate your hand to catch it after you spin if you didnt give it enough or put too much force) and congratulations you did a saber spin with a broom.

I used to use contact staff work in some fire performance stuff years ago. Your transitions are super clean and it's rly cool to see contact done with light sabers! Fantastic work !!

Okay...that's freaking impressive and I can see why people would think it's some kind of trick like magnets or string considering how smooth it looks. The amount of practice and effort put into making it look that smooth the entire time is what makes it seem so unreal.
