Chisaki's Quirk Explained

Kai Chisaki, otherwise known as Overhaul, is the latest Villain in My Hero Academia’s manga.

He’s the central villain of this arc, and his quirk is one of the more dangerous quirks we’ve seen so far.

Why? Well, his quirk allows him to touch someone, and destroy them. This sounds super similar to Shigaraki’s quirk, which allows him to touch someone and cause them to break down into dust, and I think that’s an important thing to touch on.

Also he can revive people, if someone dies, as long as their corpse is still warm, he can disassemble and bring them back to life, he killed Eri multiple time during experiment and manage to bring her back every time.

He can also heal people, after Lemillion knocked out chrolostasis giving him a concussion, Chisaki touches Chrono to remove his head injuries

I think Kai Chisaki is very similar to Trafalgar Law from One Piece:
They're both young men with dark spiky hair
They are both in their 20s
They both have a power that involves disassembling and reassembling (Chisaki has Overhaul and Law has the Ope Ope devil fruit)
They have something to do with doctors (Chisaki wears a Plague Doctor mask and Law is the doctor of his pirate crew)
They both get a limb of their body amputated (Chisaki loses both of his arms because of Tomura and Atsuhiro's Quirks and Law had his arm cut by Doflamingo)
They both wear simple clothing like hoodies
They are somehow involved in the creation of substances that affect the main superpowers of their respective franchises (Chisaki with the Quirk drugs and Law with the S.A.D. that is used to make artificial Devil Fruits)

He is also similar to the Nazi German mad doctor Josef Mengele:
They both performed experiments on kids (Chisaki on Eri and Mengele on various children)
They both suffer from mysophobia and get easily angry if something goes wrong
They both have something to do with fusions (Mengele likes to perform experiments on twins to make genetically modified Siamese twins and Chisaki fuses more than once with his fellow subordinates)
Because of his obsession with creating artificial human bodies, Mengele "disassembled and reassembled" his victims just like Chisaki does with his Quirk
