Neymar’s hype kept the team relevant but they were never decent. The team hasn’t been World Class since Ronaldinho retired.

Ronaldinho is also a bit younger than Rivaldo and Roberto Carlos but Ronaldo was hampered by injuries so played less for his national team.

Moreover, I disagree, as you could argue that Neymar had world class players around him like Oscar, Fernandinho, and Marcelo. You could further argue that a defence consisting of Marcelo, Thiago Silva, David Luiz and Dani Aleves with Fernandinho in holding midfield would allow Neymar to have complete freedom to attack but it never worked.

Alas, Neymar was a fantastic player when he was younger but when he lost his pace he couldn’t adapt his game and doubled up defenders got the best of him. Which is why his only a great player and not one of the legends of the game like Ronaldinho.

Have you actually watched Ronaldinho play? Dude is the definition of skill. The defenders didn't even know how to stop him. Now okay Neymar has more g+a, but like come on, Dihno is one of the players who inspired a lot of players to play football, and will probably inspire even more. No disrespect to Neymar he is really good, but injuries held him back, and that, s why I believe that Dihno is a better footballer than Neymar.
