Dragon Ball FighterZ Rollback is Here, but...

Dragon Ball FighterZ just shadow dropped the rollback netcode update. However, this seems to have some issues, which would explain why they were so quiet about this announcement...

I think the Rollback Update was "done" a while ago but Bandai Namco wanted the players Focus to be on Tekken 8

I was gonna download the beta, until I saw Seyhan's tweet. And it told me to stay far away from this rollback. They really spent 3 months just porting it to consoles and doing nothing to fix the obvious issues while ignoring the game modes that really needed it like party/raid battles. Imma be over here on granblue playing fall guys, thanks Bandai

In the US, redownloading the characters is glitched. Android 21 lab coat isn’t free, and there isn’t an option to make her free, unlike with Globku. Same issue applies to the commentator voice pack 1. That’s not free either.

Guys if you click on the season passes you dont have to download the dlc individually like globku did. Just clock on each season pass and it'll automatically download all of em

The most I can say is that despite the servers crapping out, I personally didn't have too many issues on PS5. In most games I didn't even have flashing portraits and I haven't encountered any camera bugs yet. I did only play for two hours though.

One bug I did find is that if you queue for an arena match and then join a ring match lobby, the rules of the arena carry over. This was really odd and I don't think existed before.

If nothing haa truly changed then this truly is just an L for me. I don't really play ring match, instead me and my American friends play 3 v 3 mainly and some raid battles the smaller number of players having rollback is even more discouraging. They wanted fighterz dead.
