The next adventure video is finally here!. I took my DJI Mavic Air into the back country wilderness of Alaska and got a lot of fantastic 4k footage for you to enjoy. You also get to come along on the adventure! Lots of great Mavic 4K footage in this video.

Nice videography. I live very rural also in Alaska. My wife and I also have a remote cabin. Hope to be using the Mavic PP more in my videos and I enjoy getting tips and ideas on how its done by videos such as yours here. Thumbs up.

Awesome video... being from Florida I get to enjoy looking at all that snow. Glad everyone made It back safely.

Now if I had a area to ride in that like I might still be snowmobiling. Nicely done again.

Jake I was curious, when the drone is following you from the air while your driving or on the snowmobile, is someone else operating the drone or is it on follow me mode or tracking mode ?

Nice pull away on the opening shot. The ‘follow me’ shots were nice as well. How did the Air do with the high follow shots through the trees? Any problems with it losing lock on you?

Great footage. I am trying to get input on the use of flight modes with DJI drones. In the opening scene, did you use APAS in manual mode and fly forward (then reverse in post) to capture the video through the trees? Secondly, when tracking behind you and/or flying over you, did you use TapFly or ActiveTrack modes. What drives your decisions on mode selection? Maybe a good topic for a future video on YouTube.

Man that's some wind beaten snow above treeline. The kind that rattles out fillings and breaks suspension parts. Other than it being an old Arctic Cat, did you figure out why it quit? Also, No RMK this year?
"My Snowmachine quit, and my dad just kept on going..." Thanks, I thought I'd repressed all those childhood memories. ;P
