It’s funny, I actually understand what you mean talking about the iPhone SE. I damaged my 12 pro recently and had to go to the old 7 we had sitting in a drawer and I was pleasantly surprised how little of an impact it had changing over to it

I tend to have more of a minimalist mindset lately, which isn’t good for my job. I’m a sales advisor at Best Buy and I’m always like “Nah, you don’t need Word. save the $79/yr and just use pages”. I feel like I can’t be totally honest with people if I wanna be good at my job. It’s a bit uncomfortable.

I am rocking a iPhone 13, iPad Gen 9, and Dell Inspiron 14" i7 16 gigs of ram.
I would probably have to use my old iPhone SE 1st gen.
I am on a plan for 1.5 more years, and it would be expensive to get a new phone that way.
The iPhone SE 2 in my country is $250 refurbished.
I would not be able to afford to replace my iPad.
I would have to borrow my boyfriends laptop (we live together).
I bought my laptop and iPad on monthly plans, and have just started school (laptop paid off, iPad paid off in November).
No where in the budget to replace them.
Wired Apple Earbuds, and no watch.
I like Apple and Android/Windows and MacOS pretty equally. I prefer iPadOS to any Android tablet however.
I am going to Nursing school, and it is a requirement to have a Windows laptop due to required software.

If I had all the money in the world I get a iPad Air. An iPhone SE 3 (I spend too much time on phone). And a razer laptop.

I assume no one cares, but I enjoyed writing this haha.

1:30 I was in between Space Grey and Silver, but I ended up getting a 14 inch in Silver and its been a great decision. It's really clean and the back accents stand out.

That is a good point. Another benefit of older phones is just the liberation of not feeling like you have to coddle the thing for years. Even like an iPhone 12 mini is now pretty easy to find for like under $300 on the resale market. Imagine in a year the iPhone 13 mini will start to hit that price point.

That might be a happy medium for people that don't want the older design.

I mean you could almost buy a second iPhone SE 2 just as a failsafe in case you need parts or a backup phone. Straight talk sells them for 75 bucks.

One thing to note, there is no binned M1 Pro (or M2 Pro) on the 16", binned Pro chips are only on the 14"

Awww man. I forgot I can charge my AirPods 2 with the Apple Watch charger. I’ve had 3 cords on my side table FOREVER and with the Apple Watch ultra I don’t have to charge it as often, so it’ll be nice to drop a cord and use the watch charger for that. Can’t believe I forgot

idk if i’m doing things wrong, but my 14” macbook pro with the m1 pro chip performs terrible. its okay sometimes, but it crashes randomly in logic and fcpx with project sizes that my 2016 13” i7 could handle. i don’t understand how
