Love the pod David. But the last two episodes had three liberals ;-( and one NDP (poor Jordan). I wished your conversations would reflect the diversity of opinions in the electorate... also, would be good to try to bring back some of your critical thinking and not just reiterate what legacy media says. Eg Carney has a great resume - no, he does not. He runs for a PM, top political role, and not a head of a monetary think tank. It is like asking a dentist to do brain surgery. Plus, nobody mentioned how Carney has a problem putting together even a simple meaningful sentence - and when he does, it is stupid (a strong Canada needs a strong economy - really)? Carney should replicate the strategy of Biden and Kamala - not go to the people but rely on media to cover for him. They failed, but this might succeed in Canada.
Finally, can you please unwrap what this completely criptic notion of "standing up to Trump" means? Trump is not negotiating, he is not transactional but predatory. So it is all about Canada turning back to itself and stay at a distance and become economically and socially stronger, relisient and independent. Not "waging war" like Premier Eby does. I get that discoverying patriotism is good for Liberals but war mongering is not good for Canada.

1st day: Carney Nfld, 200 people attended, locked out the local fishermen. Poilievre Toronto, couple of thousand in packed room with multi-racial attendees, had to turn hundreds away for lack of room.

Since the Ontario election this podcast has become its own little echo chamber. If its not Trump its not worth talking about. No substantive talk about Chinese tariffs, cost of living or our lost decade. Just my observation.

I think that Poilievre needs to showcase himself in the one place where he is losing voters. Mainstream media. He should do one on one interviews with David on CBC and Vassy on CTV in order to show the older generation that he is not what he has been portrayed to be by the Liberals, NDP and MSM. Float his platform directly to them and show that he is charismatic and putting Canada first. I don’t agree with Jordan that Poilievre can’t be seen as someone who would meet with Macron. I think just the opposite. He can read people and would be great at diplomatic relations.
