Very Helpful. More tips: forget about the alcohol wipes... if your rig is more than a few years old, there will be a LOT of grime. Use a wet, soapy rag to remove most of the dirt. THEN, follow with a different rag soaked in isopropyl alcohol. You want a clean rubber surface to mate with the tiny adhesive strips. Also, the adhesive strips will quickly grab the clean rubber seal, so be sure to press the shields inward and upward during the initial insertion, then press them outward to bond to the rubber seal.

What are the front clips for? 2017 f150. The clips at the bottom of front window. Do they stay forever?

I wish I had seen this video before installing my deflectors rather than the "universal" video listed for "only F-150" that had a different vehicle... After watching this, I realize I installed the clips for the back windows incorrectly. My kit didn't have clips for the front windows either - hopefully they're not needed on the 2014. Will the deflectors stay in place with the clips installed incorrectly on the back windows? Do I need to rip it out and redo it? I don't think the tape will restick if I do...
