Christians cannot be (possessed) by a demon, they can (oppressed) by one. Big difference. Once you are indwelt by the Holy Spirit. You are now the Temple of the Holy Spirit. Darkness cannot reside where God presence is, hence why you a born again Christian cannot be possessed by a demon because you are indwelt by the Holy and Living God.
