Watch: Greenpeace protesters scale Sunak’s manor house in protest of oil drilling ‘frenzy’

Greenpeace activists have said they have scaled Rishi Sunak’s mansion in protest at his new drilling “frenzy”.

The campaigners said they had draped the Prime Minister’s manor house in North Yorkshire with an oil-black fabric to “drive home the dangerous consequences”.

They took the action on Thursday as Mr Sunak and his family are away on holiday in California.

Wee bit silly to suggest no new oil.
Yes, we need to move away from oil but to say no new oil/gas in NorthSea puts our energy supply at risk.

Rather than using those rigging/climbing skills to do a nothing protest/grandstand - go get employed in the wind industry and work on the turbines putting the rigging/working at height capability to better use.
