INFO:
Thanks to Argon40 I got my hands on Argon NEO - a compact Raspberry Pi 4 case with passive cooling. A very handsome looking case for $15

As I watch this I have that case with a Pi4 clocked to 2ghz and GPU clocked to 650 and an overvolt of 6. I purchased the fan as well and have it running at 50% speed right now with no script for controlling it, it just runs at half speed non-stop. It keeps it between 50 and 60 most of the time although running YT vidz it gets up just over 70. I wouldn't suggest overclocking in this case without a fan. If you aren't extreme this is a very nice case but the Argon fan is verry loud at full speed.

This is a great case. It looks like the heat sink will work better than FLIRC case does, which has been the standard I have measured passive heat-sinking against.
Thanks for the review.

Thanks for the video Matt. Start doing thermal bench marks every week, to keep this good weather going in the UK :0). Keep safe and stay well.

I'm interested to see how much difference the official fan hat makes with thermals. (I've ordered an Argon Neo and fan hat). I hope its good enough for overclocking

Thanks for the review. Can you see the LED lights (power/activity)?

I’ve been having issues these days with my rpi4 almost 80 degrees C due to the weather (32+ degrees INSIDE the house) and due to raspberry pi os being a 32bit system in combination with a dockerized influxdb instance that is taking the load up to an avg of 3+. I only have some passive little blocks on CPU and RAM so I would definitely buy this smaller case!

I will also install ubuntu server on it, from what I’ve read, it tends to run a lot cooler than rpi os, thanks for the review though!

The case being plastic underneath should be easy to drill a hole in it right? That way I can still mount it on the wall. It seems a bit thin though, would it break if I drill it?

i like this case, but with a closed cover the temperature went from 41
to 50 degrees Celsius... unfortunately the argon fan hat running @100%
hat wont help in any way if the pi is heating up. only opening the cover
really avoids burning down my pi.... i would suggest you should drill
some holes onto the cover for better airflow ... i trusted neo and fan
hat... but after my pi reached about 75 degrees and the fan hat was
really really loud i had to open the cover
