Guys, she was 9. It's like all your friends getting cake except you. Of course she'll be upset. She obviously works hard so she deserved it.

I understood why Maddie cried. She felt like the odd one out since everyone had a solo but her, and Abby did that on purpose to make Maddie feel bad. I think she had full intentions of letting her do a solo from the beginning. But now, Maddie and Melissa know how people like Nia feel when they’re left out and don’t get the same opportunities. It was only fair.

It wasn't Maddie's fault it was Melissa. Melissa was the one saying that Maddie is not allow to do a solo when Maddie said she wanted to do it. So don't start pointing fingers yet and yes I understand that all the children don't have as much opportunity as Maddie but still it isn't Maddie's fault to was Melissa. I don't have any hatred torwards any girls I think they are all very talented.

I understand Maddie! Ofcourse she cried! EVERYONE got a solo but she did’nt. She felt left out! I would cry too even if im older than nine.

Maddie is crying because she feels left out for not having a solo, since everyone has one. Abby gave all the other girls solos except Maddie just to hurt her. Its not even Maddie's fault that she doesn't have a solo - her mother didn't want her to perform last time and so Abby is using that against them.
