Ezran lost his way by letting anger and fear take over his mind. He became paranoid. He doesn't listen to the advisers, breaks down at the affectionate Zim, and Anya tries to support him, but ... But she herself grew up not knowing family love, among conspiracies and assassinations. Therefore, her support eventually makes Ezran deviate even more from the ideas that he has always tried to embody.😢

Not gonna lie, upon rewatch after rewatch…the Fire Ruby caves give off major “Cave of Crystals” energy (a real cave in Naica Mexico btw), especially the initial reveal shot (seen in the trailer) as well as that upwards pan at 3:20

Oh my God! Ezran ranting about never forgiving Callum for helping Runaan get free and therefore betraying Katolis?! And him outright yelling at Zym?! Being cold to Viren and immediately ordering Runaan to get arrested was completely valid and understandable, but Ezran, what has gotten into you?! Seeing you so angry at Callum to the point you outright rant you will never forgive him and taking your anger out on Zym?! I feel I don't know you anymore, Ezran! Both your mother and father would be turning in their graves seeing you let hate drive you to feel such horrible enotions and make such commands (ordering the others to track Callum, Rayla, and Runaan)! Viren might be turning in his grave too! 😢😢😢

Oh my God, Ezran! If Callum, Rayla, and Runaan were posing a threat to Katolis, I would agree with you yelling that Callum betrayed you and all of Katolis!
