He's a genius. Get Out is one of my favourite movies. When I finished watching it I remember saying I wish I could go back and see it again for the first time. I still do.

The idea of an Alien Abduction is a classic fear. I woke up from a dream about an abduction once. Family was in the livingroom and everything outside lit up like daylight. But I could see the treeline in the back yard and it was still black as night. My older sister ran outside because she wanted to "make contact" and she disappeared down the driveway. Mom was trying to call her back to the house and Dad was holding onto her and keep me and my brother safe. I remember saying "We need to get to the bathroom" because it was the only room without a window. Dad was trying to pull mom back from the door and said for me to get my brother because he wasn't in the room with us. I went to our bedroom that we shared and the blinds were up and the window open. The lights were off, but the light outside lit up the room. I went to our open window and looked outside. That's when I saw them, clear as day. They were the classic greys with those big black eyes, but two different kinds. One was very tall, maybe 7ft or more and very skinny. There were at least 3 of them out there that I could see. They were walking around, walking around a little slowly and looking at the ground. They would point at something on the ground and these smaller greys would scurry over and pick whatever it was up from the ground. They were small, like children. I can hear Dad calling me to hurry and get my brother to the bathroom to hide. I tried to scream for them to run, but nothing came out. I tried harder and managed to push some air out, but not much else. I screamed again, managing to get a faint "run" past my lips. I struggled even hard and managed to say "RUN" at about a normal speaking level, but it was raspy like a sore throat. The greys outside all turned in unison and looked right at me, like they were surprised I managed to speak. Startled me and I took a step back. I felt someone grab me by the back of the neck, who I thought was my dad coming to pull me to safety. But I knew it wasn't him. The fingers were very long and nearly wrapped around my neck. I woke up in bed and saw my brother was asleep. I sat up and saw everything looked normal. I had to sit there and watch TV for about half an hour to calm my nerves. I've had nightmares before, but nothing shook me as hard as that dream. I choose to believe it was a dream. The idea of it somehow being real...that would mean I'll never be safe.
