This video is about the difference between living as a boy vs girl. I'm transgender and I've lived as both genders and Ive noticed some big differences.

Conclusion of video: It's harder to live as a woman, but I'm sure you already were aware of this.

can we also talk about the huge pressure on trans women to be extra feminine? like if any slight and natural masculinity is shown (that all cis women show) were instantly told it’s because we’re trans and we’re not “real women” and bla bla bla

This is what makes me scared about becoming a woman. I'm super scared about how people treat me. Right now, I'm just a basic guy, that most don't care to notice. But as a girl, I wouldn't be able to go anywhere alone without putting myself in some kind of danger, and I'm an extreme loner/introvert :( so having no friends to back me up is the norm.

Too many unrealistic expectations for both genders.

Thank you for this video. I have heard trans men say that after they start to pass as men people laugh louder at their jokes, listen more to them, speak over them way less, they get treated as though they are smarter than they did before....trans people have a unique perspective on gender inequality.

about the non consencual touching as a guy working in supermarket with long hair in these days of facemasks i noticed that especialy older man sometimes missgender me. They get suprised when they ask me something in work and realise i am not just a slightly broadsouldered lenky girl but a guy . So yeah palm on my lower back is almost every week. One time this 40 something y.o. guy even got so confused after calling me "miss" while i was bent over and than when up pops my square face he forgot what he even wanted and just left. Guys lets stop and think about how we aproach woman

Videos like this are the most important testimonies to watch to really address gender equality. Who else could possibly really understand the issue better than someone who's lived a long time on both sides of the issue?

Im 19 and live in the south (sort of) and the political climate is in my opinion more agaisnt the LGBTQ+ community. I still do boy things but more and more I find myself wanting to be a girl. If I came out to my family and friends I would be disgraced. Its sad because I want to be happy. Until I get enough money to move out and live on my own (hopefully far awy from here) I have to be myself in secret.
Thanks for the videos, it keeps me inspired to find happiness!😁🌈

Another difference between men and women is that women experience more intense pressure to look young. I've heard so many times that a woman's value starts diminishing after 25, that we should basically step aside after 40, and that men age like wine while we age like milk. The media always describes attractive men celebrities over 50 as sexy and good-looking, but women celebrities of that age don't get the same description. Instead, they write, ''She looks so good for her age/she looks youthful/she looks like she's still 25''.

These perceptions and attitudes are so unfair and make it challenging for us to accept aging because we feel like we won't matter to anyone after a certain age and that no one will find us desirable. I'm sure men don't experience this problem at the same level as us.

I’m ftm, and one thing I’ve noticed is that some stores act like I’m a potential shoplifter now. Never happened before my transition

I have been transitioning for nearly a year now. Before I transitioned, I would do the same thing where I would throw on jeans and a shirt that I liked. But that hasn't really changed after transition. I've got a long skirt that I really like that I wear almost all the time, and I've only got a few different shirts that I wear with that skirt (actually 3 identical ones). I sometimes feel like I should be more into fashion as a woman, but I don't want to let anyone dictate what I should be wearing. Though, if someone wanted to pick out an outfit for me that they think looks good, and I like it, then that would be awesome!

I’ll say as a woman dating is A LOT easier. I get a lot more attention as a woman. Yes, the attention isn’t always wanted, but I find it’s better to get a ton of attention and get to choose, than going half a year or so not getting any attention at all.

I think with guys, they tend to get more annoyed if you offer help
And that's not just guys, a friend of mine (who's a girl) gets annoyed when people offer to help her
Idk, I'm presenting as a guy now (I've not started my transistion) and people offer me help if they see me struggling
