COMBINATION SKIN | Simple skincare tips | (over 40 skin)

Combination skin can be really tricky to deal with, because each area of your face has different skin needs! In my experience, choosing a gentle skincare routine with the right skincare products, and keeping consistent has given me the best results. The important thing to remember with combination skin, is to choose skincare products that do not exacerbate the oily parts of your face (primarily your T-zone), nor damage the skin barrier of the more balanced/normal parts of your face.

I have combination acne prone skin…even at the age of 50 I still struggle with hormonal acne. It’s ridiculous! I thought I’d be done with this by now. But lately I’ve been having sooo much trouble with really dry, peely skin, especially on my chin. I have tried everything! I stopped using all my actives, I’ve done masks, I’ve done slugging, exfoliating etc etc…but I cannot get rid of this severely dry chin. It’s so bad I can’t even wear makeup right now or my chin looks so flaky within an hour, it’s embarrassing.

Do you have any recommendations for severely dry skin? Skin that’s angry about something, I just don’t know what! Is there a product out there that is wonderful at instantly soothing dry, cracked, chapped skin, and keeping it soothed all day? Thanks!

Hello gorgeous! You look stunning! Your hair color and makeup if you're wearing any is making you glow to the world! I also love the lipstick! What is it, color? Thanks for reviewing these goodies! The only thing I've tried is the NIOD mist and I was underwhelmed by it. Not sure if I was using it incorrectly but I ended up putting on my legs before my moisturizer. I should give it another try as I love the ingredients and at the time I tried it, my skin was going through some changes. Have a terrific day and week ahead! 😍❤
