So quick witted and inspiring. My aunt lives next to the Mrs Doubtfire house and people to this day still leave flowers outside of it, he is still dearly missed.

I would sacrifice all the Hollywood hacks to have Robin Williams back.

I still miss this guy. There was something about Robin that always left me wanting to see more of him. He came across as this humble class clown man who loved making people laugh and would laugh at his own stupidity.

His death in 2014 left me in tears since my dad passed away with suicide back in 1990. Its like as if my heart was ripped in half when Williams died.

Some of my favorites include Aladdin, Mrs Doubtfire, Bicentennial Man, Jumanji and Hook I could go on.

As what Doug Walker said about him "Robin would come up with a joke just like that and he was really softspoken when he'd speak. Also him and Jim Carrey were different. Robin was like Daffy Duck while Carrey was like Bugs Bunny as he was able to move his face and be physical with his body parts whereas Williams would do impersonations and wasn't as obnoxious as Carrey(even though I love Jim Carrey too).

RIP Williams. I will always miss you.

I haven't watched the whole thing yet, but I want to say I am the same in terms of the level of upset I was over Robin Williams death. It hit me in a way no other person I've never met has.

When I was in highschool in theatre I always channneled a sort of methodology that followed Robin's performances with my characters in the comedys I performed in. I grew up on his acting and I consider him to be one of the few actors that served a borderline paternal substitute role for me, being raised with an estranged father by my single mother. These men were Bill Nye, Robin Williams, and Steve Irwin. Hearing about Robin's passing hurt me so much more than I could have expected, but it's because he taught me so much as a performer and as a human being, about enjoying the little things, and embracing emotions and dramatic expressive approaches to everything. I also struggle with severe mental illness and I find myself so mournful for him not only because he impacted my performance technique, but because he felt like a friend. He embodied a sort of embrace of the comedy and absurdity of life without shying away from sadness or dark events. He embodied the duality of our day to day personas, the mask of performance vs genuine human expression, and everything between those two points.

He also pointedly was a man who held himself responsible for mistakes from all sources I've heard and read, which is so refreshing to see. He was adaptive and didn't rely on intentionally being overly shocking or edgy to be funny, while still enjoying mature and adult humor at times just as much as he could embrace less crass humor. He didn't censor himself, but he also didn't cross the line just for the sake of it and punch down. He was known to be an advocate for underdogs and he embodied the healthiest kind of masculinity, while also being a flawed individual. He acknowledged human error and flaws and authenticity head on.

I miss robin William’s, lots of his films were apart of my childhood and really helped me through my adolescence.

To Commentors that opposes Robin and his life:

There's no considerate reason to display your dislike for him and calling vulgar and such. What are you trying to accomplish or achieve by stating that you hate Robin in a video that admires Robin? All you will get is people telling you the opposite and berate you about how Robin was a great guy, and you know that you're just going to get people who likes Robin or more mad, so why cause the agony?

Yeah, it's not wrong for you to have an opinion formed because you don't see our view, but it's wrong to use that hateful opinion just to upset people and knowing how much that'll hurt them but not caring.

It's just that simple, if you have nothing nice to say, don't say it at all, in this case.

I miss Robin Williams. I grew up with his movies, and I’m still watching new movies that he was in. He was one of my favorite actors ever. Also, he literally named his daughter Zelda while he and his wife were playing Ocarina of Time. That’s so freaking awesome! He was in a commercial for LoZOoT3D! Other than that, he was so expressive, heartfelt, and seemed like a guy I could really get along with as a kid. I STILL feel like I would get along with him. He brought a lot of happiness into my life when I was starting to develop symptoms of PANDAS. (Look it up. It’s strep that’s in the brain and gets you stressed. Short version.) Gonna miss him...

Thank you for posting this. It was one of the best descriptions of Robin's career and of him as a person. And it has happened that people would tell him he was terrible and he would laugh about it and then say "Thank you" and go on his way. That was the human being he was.

Robin was insanely quick witted, intelligent and talented but most importantly he was a beautiful soul. Despite any issues he had personally, bringing other people joy brought him joy. I hope he rests in peace.

I remember where I was when I first heard that Robin Williams was dead. I was eating dinner with my mom, grandma, and sister on a pier in Myrtle Beach, Sc. My mom could not believe it, told me "who would tell such a horrible lie". I had to tell her it was real. We were all heart broken.

So sad when I heard this grew up with him on Mork & Mindy, to his battle with drugs and depression, to letting everyone know he loved an played often World of Warcraft to him being able to ACTUALLY ACT. An yes when he was on.... he was top 5 top 10 level funny, and he had such heart. Thanks for the spotlight on him.

Robin Williams was truly a one of a kind person and entertainer. He is one of the few whose deaths actually affected me when I heard about it.

Really great video I appreciate a lot. Robin meant a lot to me. I grew up on all of his work, he was a role model to me like a second father. Maybe it hit me harder because my father died the year before and I felt that way because when Robin passed it destroyed me. I'm glad this could remind me of what made Robin special because the world has felt a lot darker with the loss of him.

Even now Robin inspires me to be a better, more positive and loving person.
