Let's make a stealth ham radio antenna that hides in plain sight in the HOA; they'll never find it. I'm using the Poseidon Rybakov antenna kit from Coffee and Ham Radios.

Only mistake I see here is being in an HOA. Been there done that. Now I live outside of city limits with 18 acres. I can through any antenna up... I have a gun range in my back yard. Big firepit for hanging around with friends, etc. I don't want to be told what I can and can't do on MY property.

A thing to think about: during the occupation we in the Netherlands were also not allowed to use antenna's and radio's. The thoughts and the behaviour of the HOA gives me the same impression as men marching together in black shirts, the men that shall not be named.

the FCC ruled that because amateur radio is part of the emergency networks hoa's can't prevent HAMs installing outside antennas.

Haha...love this! Just like Sgt. Kinchloe in Hogans Heroes raising the antenna in the kommandants flagpole!

Your HOA cannot tell you that you can't have a mast it's federal jurisdiction and your Right. Malicious compliance is in order.

In the USA it is common for folk to fly the USA flag on a pole outside their house. It's easy to hide a vertical Antenna inside the pole.

Love the attitude, love the channel concept and HOA theme! So many Hams live in HOAs, so I LOVE the different ideas. Please keep video’s coming.

That's a great setup! You could but the CHA URT1 at the base and now you can actually load at resonance anything between 6M to 160M for 125W!

I am so glad to see your YouTube channel. Just starting studying for my test. I live in an HOA and will be needing some good advice. Thanks for sharing

I made a birdhouse antenna using 16 ft of alum tubing for a HOA friend and the Karens have not caught onto it. I told him to run a kilowatt and see if he can trigger garage doors ....the ones where the Karens live but WHY be a ham and live in a HOA?

Great antenna! I am using g a 9:1 unun out a first floor window up to the roofline with A 26 Guage wire pulled up bu monofilament line. Been up nearly a year and nothing from neighbors or HOA. Antennas are Antennas, either we all get to put one up or you take down that dish thing you all have up. Seems fair to me.

Thanks for sharing, more discreet might have been a loop wire around the house under the gutter, or a wire ant in the trees at the rear with coax under the lawn. Hao must be a nightmare. Thought the USA was home of the free.

HOA is the natural habitat of the Karen. They often gather in packs at HOA meetings.

My HOA doesn't have any issues with my 2 mm/ 440 cm antenna that is 12 feet tall above my roof. In fact, the one I have is bent and needs replaced due to high winds. They love that my antenna has a 00 gauge wire to a cooper ground rod under my deck that is 8 ft in length. Perfect lightning protection for the neighborhood. The houses surrounding me and mine have all been hit with lightening before I put my antenna up. Since the installation, we haven't had a lightening strike to date.

I ran a cb radio in a hoa. My antenna was a 17-foot 2-inch copper wire that i ran up the side of my chimney with a ground rod 4 foot deep. No one ever seen it cause i painted it the same color

About 3 decades ago I had to have a new roof installed on the home I had then. I measured out the wire for a 40 meter dipole and had the construction company install it under the shingles. It worked like a charm with very little tuning. As far as HOA;s, Never will do that one.
