David and Danny remained friends till the end. Danny Bonaduce regards David as his older brother and defends his memory to this day!!

Sometimes you wish you could travel back in time and just stay there for a while… I’d like to be here just not knowing the future… hearing this voice and smiling

David Cassidy had the PERFECT combination of utter sexiness equaled by the pure innocence of this show and the songs that brought his gracefulness and talent to a whole other level above most. Love you now and forever David, and thank you to the Partridge Family for being the catalyst of so many wonderful memories. Truly valuable.

The moment that David takes Suzanne's hand and sings, "Hold my hand and we'll be free..." 😢

He had a beautiful voice...he was a very underappreciated singer. His father actor Jack Cassidy never showed any pride in his sons great talent. He was jealous of his David's fame. Listen to his music all the time...

Charismatic David had that twang in his speaking & singing voice. A sexy soft tone which matched his looks & GREAT SMILE which lit up the entire room. Nothing put this all together better than his Character as KEITH. His relationship with Laurie, Danny and with Shirley was MAGIC! PERFECT!

❤🎉😊 Still listening on Sunday of Memorial Day weekend, 05/25/25. I also still watch the re-runs like The Partridge Family is fresh and new. Hey, they would be a sensation in the last couple of decades, with all of the "Make This Band, " "Top Singer That, " etc. and so on.
David Cassidy was in a very little known show, with one of his (younger) siblings, Patrick Cassidy. The show's producer was none other than my pre-teen idol and his equally or very closely matched in popularity, (younger) sibling, Shaun Cassidy. That show's title is Ruby and the Rockets. My sister and I watched every episode of it's very short life. Another 🎵 show too late for the 1960s, '70s, & a wee bit in the early 1980s, but being too early, or before it's time, for television as it is now and has been for at least a couple of decades, and that includes all sources for viewing. It was a fun and very good program 😊❤

Anyway, I have loved The Partridge Family since I was a very young little girl 😊
My sister and I have a gift, knack, talent whatever for meeting and even getting to know, and for some and when we are lucky and things are just right between everyone, even befriending different types of talents, from the top radio personalities to Rock Stars, and in between.

My sister befriend Danny Bonaduce and his, then, wife Gretchen, when Danny was an on-air top-notch talent for one of our popular radio 📻 stations, at the time.
Well, you guessed it. If course Danny and David Cassidy were like bosom buddies, but unlike what has been a popular but short-lived t.v. show, of the very early 1980s, like 1980, that started Tom Hanks, yep! 😮 and Peter Scolari, who remained his close but less 'bosom' buddy until Peter Scolari passed away only a few years ago, in 2021.
David Cassidy was in town for a play, in what he'd started on Off Broadway (Manhattan, N.Y.C.) with his "Blood Brother, " Shaun Cassidy, in the play, Blood Brothers. Unfortunately, the performance in my Chicago was missing Shaun. He got off the show when it went to tour.
Wrapping up, but much is omitting 😁 Danny Bonaduce got my sister and me tickets for a meet and greet and lunch conversation with David, and hosted by Danny and The Loop, WLUP FM 98 Chicago (formerly), which is the station that Danny was on. My sister and I had purchased tickets for the play, which was I the evening of that same day. About either a day to a few days to one week earlier or after that "Lunch with Danny and David" whatever catchy title it has, and the play, Blood Brothers starring David, my sister and I met Donny Osmond, who'd been in town for a couple of years, back and forth on extended stays of Joseph and the Amazing Technicolored Dreamcoat. We also saw that musical, twice.

However, about a decade later, Joseph was out again, but on a tiny bit smaller stage, but still at major theater, and guess who was starring in it? Patrick Cassidy 😊 We bought tickets with swift and lightening speed. We also have the knack, which is also part of an album titled Get The Knack, by the 1970s band, The Knack, that is famous for their song, My Sharona. My sister and I met Patrick Cassidy.
We met Shirley Jones on a meet and greet for a big and fancy movie theater showing of Oklahoma, "Oklahoma, O.k.l.a.h.o.m.a. Oklahoma, OK" ❤🎉😊
Shaun Cassidy has been elusive, but he's still out there and occasionally playing dates on tour - acoustic storyteller. I'm on it 😂
The youngest, Ryan Cassidy might continue to be a miss.
As for Susan Day, I don't think that she has ever been around, plus she had that very popular t.v. show for a while. The two Chris's (sorry too names are too much at this point), neither came close. Suzanne Crough (Tracy) took to the every day life. May she rest in peace 😢❤🎉
And that's just those associated with The Partridge Family 😊. I am piecing together a timeline for a Podcast about my adventures, such as I have described, here 😄

This is my absolute favorite song David ever sang! It does so bring me back to to the 70's. David Cassidy most definitely was the better, most memorable part of my childhood. He glows with excitement and always generates it among all audiences. I will always remember him for giving me the joy I so needed then. And BTW: The HD sound is phenomenal!!!
