One of the all time greats, is Eric. And a Newcastle man, as was my grandfather before me. His superb rock and blues vocals amaze me to this day. This is an excellent rendition of Don't Let Me Be Misunderstood, his backup band is dynamite, man.

Burdon has be re-interpreting Animals songs for decades, which is probably necessary for him to retain interest in them - he's never been one to "settle in".

The version of this on the 1974 Eric Burdon Band album "Sun Secrets" is spectacular!
