@Ruinous Dude, John Mayer is emphasizing on the blues style because he's the only young musician that still play that wonderful music style, and because blues fans love it, and also because music needs it, so that blues doesn't die. And the reason why he keeps Steve Jordan as a drumer, it's not only because he's a better drumer than your JJ Johnson, but also because he's a better virtuoso, so a better composer, and if you have noticed, Battle Studies as been produced by Mayer AND Jordan.

I like how alot of celebrities say "we are normal people just like you!" but only staying inside Hollywood, not interacting with the other communities, and when John posts these videos on YouTube (where the community basically is us "normal people") it feels so casual and that he in fact is like us "normal people" xD! He shares somethings with us, and we are grateful by watching :)
