Ford Bronco Sport vs Jeep Renegade and Compass Trailhawk

Initial thoughts with the new release of the Bronco Sport specs compared to the well known Renegade and Compass Jeeps

Ground clearance on the cherokee trailhawk is not 10.8". It's 8.7"... I know, cause I have one.

If Ford used slightly-better gearing than the Jeep Compass Trailhawk's ZF 9HP automatic transmission, they might have a decent advantage. However, I gotta give credit to Ford for putting in their active LSD at the rear that is mechanically-identical to the one used on the Ford Focus RS. I'm curious if Jeep will put lockers or at least a strong LSD at the rear of future Jeep Renegade Trailhawks and Jeep Compass Trailhawks to match the Ford Bronco Sport Badlands spec sheet.

Yes the ford bronco and the cherokee trailhawk are the same size but that's were the similarity ends. The Cherokee is a real 4x4 but the bronco is a awd without any true locking transfer case or differential. Anyone serious about off road you would be crazy to buy the bronco instead of the Cherokee trailhawk.

I'll stick with what works Jeep Renegade and Jeep Compass Trailhawk Ford try to put a Bronco on a Escape chassis it's not going to work
