What I love most about your lectures (besides how clear, concise, and to the point they are) is that you always re-explain most concepts that need to be understood to comprehend the material you are currently presenting, although you already discussed those same concepts in SEVERAL previous lectures!

While I am no expert, I believe this explanation to be incorrect. The concept of mutual inductance does not apply given this geometry unless the secondary coil has nearly the same radius as the primary. Otherwise, no matter the current induced in the secondary coil, its NET contribution to the primary coil flux is approximately zero (if the radius of the primary coil is significantly greater than that of the secondary).
