This happened to me. I broke my toe nail when acidentally kicking a weight in the gym. It wasnt completely off so i just let it be for a couple of days. Then one day it fell off, i laughed my ass of, took a picture, played with my toenail and then ignored it for maybe a year and it's back no problems.

I once experienced this, mine got injured, fell off and grew a healthy new toenail. Though I never did most of the process provided. I only did was wash the blood off and put a bandage and left it for a week before i took it off. Suprisingly, i never got an infection. 😆

When my toe got stubbed and lifted my nail off (it was standing upright but still attatched at the cuticle) I thought it would be a good idea to cut as much off as I could so when I got to the doctor'sit would be easier to remove... I only cut off half lol

As soon as I got to the doctor's he said I shouldn't have tried cutting it off and he proceeded to use tweezers to shove the remaining half a toenail back down and the corners into my toe. Then wrapped it. Apparently keeping it on helps create a barrier.

Obviously this won't work if your nail has been completely ripped out 😅

I ripped my nail off about two months ago, cleaned it, doused it in 91% rubbing alcohol, then dried it put Neosporin and a bandage that I left on for a day and changed the bandage for only another day and let it breathe from then on. It’s currently growing back with no issues. I appreciate the advice for future reference though 👍🏽

I slipped in my bathroom after taking a shower once, my big toe nail caught the bottom of the door and my toe continued forward between the bottom of the door and the tile floor ripping of 85% off my big toe nail. The pain was insane.
