ASK UNMC! What is the latest treatment for nasal polyps?

I've had nasal polyps all my life. I would like to have them removed.
At times they would be so swollen that you could see them sticking-out
from my nostrils.
I learned over the years that keeping my body temperature warm, helps
tremendously. But when I get cold or catch a cold, that's when they swell.

I had a polypectomy done nine yrs ago. With a recent CT I was alerted to the fact the surgeon had breached an eye socket which caused LOT of pain after that surgery and must heal on its own. The polyps are back and they now want to do a LOTHROP procedure which entail drilling out your two sinus inlet holes, clean out the polyps and grind out sinus\skull bone between the two frontal sinuses. I can tell when the polyps are b ack because as they progress I lose taste and smell to varying degrees.

i did surgery but finally got rid of by using desi ghee drops and homeopathy simultaneously. in 10 yrs i used steroids, spray...surgeory but ghee drops, salt water neti and homeopathy are the way to remove completely. low cost but best treatment.

When I had my deviated septum repaired, they remove my polyps. Put my pops came back within a month. I am looking forward to something that can help me breathe better again.

Please correct me if I'm wrong but this doctor seems to be saying that there is non evasive treatment for nasal polyps, which I and other family members have, ie no surgery.??...?

I have had nasal polyps for about 2 years. I use the spray twice daily and it keeps them at bay. They're not a bother at all now, but I think what this woman is saying (which I don't know how accurate it is) is that this treatment gets rid of them permanently? I thought they were recurring even with surgery. Perhaps stopping unhealthy eating habits gets rid of them.

I m having a problem of nasal polyps on both the nose on the left nose for 13yrs nd on the right hnd side for 3 nd Half years.. is it harmful for me and my health??

I'm panicking because I'm looking up what I have and it keeps coming out that it might be cancer I started getting like something stuck in my throat and behind my nose I can't spit it out or swallow it I got it after I was sick last year and I still have it went to the doctor she said I might have allergies because the inside of my nose was red now I need to go to an ent next week idk how to make it go away😭😭

Just yesterday, I had a surgery to remove it due to a recurrence of nasal polyps. Six months ago, I had rhinitis and non-tumor surgery together. I'm hopeless because I don't know the cause. It's too much pressure to think about what to get every six months. Because of the sense of smell, I can't help but perform a nasal surgery. 😭😭

Just got told by my doctor I have nasal polyps in both nostrils. I was under the assumption I had given myself a deviated septum in 2013 and was too afraid to get it looked at. Not sure what to do now that I know it’s polyps
