The iPhone SE 3 (2022), is Apple's latest iPhone. It comes with 5G and Apple's A15 chip. But how does it ACTUALLY compare against the iPhone 13, in terms of Performance, Camera & Features? And what about compared to the SE 2? And what about the old iPhone 8 and 7? In this video, I'm testing all of that!

I had the iPhone SE and two of the SE2 and I’ve just ordered the SE3 with unlimited data - I just love the home button, tried newer designs but I just can’t get on with them. I could have the latest and greatest if I wanted, it’s not about the cost, the classic home button design just works best 👍

I just ordered the SE3 and I’m coming from an SE2. Both in black aka midnight. Thank you for comparing the 5G and 4G speeds; NONE of the other review videos touch on that and it’s really annoying as to me; this is the biggest reason for my upgrading. I had an iPhone 12 for awhile and while that phone has even faster 5G; I knew at that point that I had to have a phone with 5G. I’m excited for my SE3 and I can’t wait to experience 5G again like I used to. I notice a massive difference between the two.

You said that it's a decent upgrade if you're coming from an iPhone 7 or 8 or older. That's something that meant something to me because I'm coming from an iPhone SE (the first one in the 5S body). So far this has been the only review of the SE 3 that I've seen which actually told me something worthwhile to me.

Personally i think a clean screen with a frame around it is better than a frame less screen, but which is interrupted by a punch hole or a notch.

I own SE 2 and this phone is incredible, fast, camera is amazing and yes very small and comfortable

I honestly want to see a replication of the old iPhone Plus sized phones with the home button.

EDIT: You'd be surprised how many people I've met who are still set on having the home button, I'm sure Apple spotted this and that's why they've chosen to stick with this.

That's great that you mention that the lower resolution of the SE 3 helps for speed.
But speed is only the tip of the iceberg really.
Performance in games is dramatically helped by the lower resolution.
I recently compared my SE 3 to my best friend iPhone 15 Plus playing Sonic Dream Team and was amazed to see my SE 3 perfoming better despite having a slightly less powerful chip. (A15 4-core GPU in the SE 3 vs A16 in the 15 Plus)
Both run the game at 60 fps at max settings but the 15 Plus does stutters way more often than SE 3.

The classic iPhone design is nice but the gesture seems slow compare to newer iPhones I just prefer the swiping not the home button

I got SE yesterday… this is what I found helpful next to iPhone 12
One hand typing is back
Need not to lift phone to your face to unlock
Battery is as good as iPhone 12
No lag
All the new OS futures.
Only down side is, I miss gestures from iPhone 12
Funny part is, I bought iPhone 8 then expensive screen protector and back cover for dirt cheap (cause it’s 5 years old accessories). If you want to save on accessories, all for iPhone 8, not iPhone se 2022.

Although I’m trying to talk my son out of it, he is determined to get another iPhone with a home button. I personally think it would be better for him to get a phone with a larger battery. So I’m interested in seeing what kind of battery life the se3 will get.
