Day 13, and I am still here listening to this song at least 5 times a day. I thought about why I feel like this cover even surpasses the original, and I figured out why:
Raf's vocal inflections just fits the idea of this song so much that the original or others didn't have. While the original had more of a distant, cold stalker, legitimately trying to convince their victim that they're the one for them.
Raf on the other hand fully embraces the stalker mentality to the strongest Yandere type of energy, turning it into a seduction towards the dark side with her. A true tango into the shadows with your doppelganger. Then again we know she has that type of vocal capability with how flawlessly she executes being the Phantom.
