I have nothing against EU stuff, but I think such questions should be answered in the movies instead of in a story only like 15% of the movie watchers actually reads.

I have solved this question! SPOILER ALERT!!
In the scene from the force awakens that first shows Supreme leader snokes, I adjusted the pitch to 420% and clearly heard "Mee-sa Anni's Father."
This explains why in the celebration at the end of return of the Jedi, jar jar can be seen for half a second, not aged at all.... And also explains jar jar's obsession for Annikin. Therefore, jar jar hates Luke for killing Annikin, and is teaming up with the other sith leaders to take down the

Hang on, what about this theory. Spoiler Alert (maybe) if you haven't seen it.
What if Kylo's journey to the dark side was like Rey's journey to the light side except in reverse. Maybe before Kylo was sent to train with Luke, Han and Leia told him the same thing Obi Wan told Luke, that he was killed. But then when get's sent of to be trained by Luke, he finds Vader's helmet in some old storage room that Luke had. He touches the helmet and is given a vision of the dark side. Why would he see a vision? Because the helmet and the lightsaber represent the good and bad of Anikan Skywalker. Why else would he be saying "Show me the dark side" to the helmet? And maybe the vision he sees triggers his path to the dark side.

They "mysterious" client could have been Snoke. He could have brought it to Ben to push him to the dark side. or Luke had it, and Ben found it...and the package was Anakin's lightsaber, which Maz stole or intercepted. THEORIES!

Nice, I haven't read those books but, totally makes sense.
I just saw the movie today, and as an old 4, 5, 6, fan I loved the new movie. I mostly loved the Millennium Falcon scenes and really liked bb8.
I used to read all the Timothy Zahn books, and loved them.
