In this episode of American Housewife, Katie Otto faces a hilarious predicament when her youngest daughter, Anna-Kat, creates an oversized and somewhat unflattering portrait of her for the school art show. Determined to prevent the painting from being displayed, Katie embarks on a mission to retrieve it.

Meanwhile, Katie leaves her older children, Oliver and Taylor, in the care of their eccentric grandmother, Doris. Doris, with her strict and no-nonsense approach, aims to transform the siblings into well-mannered and disciplined children. However, her methods lead to chaotic and humorous consequences.

The episode is filled with comedic moments, including Katie's attempts to negotiate with the school principal and Doris's unconventional parenting techniques. As the art show approaches, Katie must confront her own insecurities and learn to embrace her imperfections.
