Gary Oldman is absolutely right. That scene was wrong, Dracula not frightened his opponents and needed a change. So they created the human bat, and the scenes made one more film creepiest. A normal actor is there would be limited to fulfill its role, Gary instead strives to improve the film, and has the courage to do it against the director of the Godfather, chapeau!. So would need to be all the actors.

Since when does expressing concerns and providing feedback in a civil manner make somebody an asshole? Like seriously, what the heck, dude. Gary wasn't even being condescending there or anything, he just expressed his concerns in a civil manner during a rehearsal - this is like the best possible scenario how a problematic scene could be handled.
