Probably the calmest competition in Innsbruck ever. The Bergisel is normally very well known for having quickly changing, challenging wind conditions. Competitions there can take quite a lot of time from the many brakes, sometimes there was only one round because the wind was so bad.
This time none of that. Wind barely changed at all, no gate adjustments were necessary. Couldn't have been smoother.

Today is a celebration on my street - one of my favourites on the highest step of podium. Congratulations to Stefan Kraft on his victory 🥇! Absolutely deservedly - he gave the best flights, as far as I'm concerned. With such performance the Golden Eagle could end up in his hands.
P.S. couldn't look at my other jumpers without crying - they all failed. Andreas Wellinger disappointed with his nondescript jumps, so he was uncompetitive, and Karl Geiger generally killed - he didn't even not exit in the final, losing to an average middling
