It's safe to say that we're at a point that aside from subtle differences, the average consumer can't go wrong. Cameras are exceptional nowadays, and a lot of the features being added are things many people won't appreciate, or care to use.

Both are incredibly good but i am more impressed with the versatility of the Samsung and the fact that although it came out in January, it keeps up with the best that Apple can do and sometimes pass it.
I'm gonna wait for January 2022 and the S22 Ultra, that's probably gonna kill it!

Galaxy S21 Ultra and for years it has had filters in the main camera, the icon is like a magic bar in the upper right. Apply them live and you can increase or decrease the intensity of the filter you choose and you can customize filters.

Hey, Supersaf. The S21 Ultra has manual focus racking in their own Pro Video mode. You can also adjust iso, shutterspeed, and more technical things on it. Although it's manual, I think that having this option is my favorite over portrait video anytime.

So happy that the S21 Ultra released in January could still compete well and even beat the iPhone 13 pro max in some cases. Something that the note does but unfortunately we don't have it this year
