Fair enough. If restaurant doesn’t add more food types people want there’s no need for more places in search results.

I mean, I don't wanna have the same restaurant in my search results multiple times, so it's kind of good I guess

The food delivery industry is a hot mess

Customers pay awful fees, silverware aren’t happy and restaurants aren’t happy and even the company doesn’t profit

Wish Foodora would do this. There's a huge amount of these in Stockholm and they all have horrific ratings. Meanwhile they promote them through the roof because some cash is exchanging hands certainly.

Glad this is happening, this just reduces the chance of small shops from being recognized but also Uber keeping many brands in the same location with diff food in the app still gives way to virtual restaurants who don’t make 20 restaurants

There's a Denny's in Youngstown Ohio that also shows up as a grilled cheese place

This is an issue in the netherlands as well. There’s an indian restaurant nearby that has like 8 different names on uber eats. I dont want to order from them. So I look for the next one, check the address, and it’s the same fking restaurant 😂. Their food is just 2 expensive compared to what you get vs other indian restaurants here

This is the food equivalent to netflix forcing 1 person per account

That's fair. That's just gaming the system and dodging reviews.

That's gotta be some really sub par food by those establishments. I dropped Uber Eats AND Door Dash from my restaurant because we barley make money off them AND the drivers don't even get the tips from the costumer unless it's handed to them I'm cash. Not to mention a larger percentage of the drivers are rude toy host/hostess's. To be NEEDING the business of food delivery services speaks loudly that there are far more issues in their restaurants that need to be addressed

The problem with ghost kitchens is well they're extremely hard to complain to if they do a terrible job. You take a risk as a customer of getting bad service and you can't do nothing. You can't even give them a star rating. Why will customers Trust a restaurant that has no way for constructive criticism and how to do better. My rule of thumb is if it says ghost kitchen avoid avoid avoid. Until they fix what's wrong with it in a way that's productive it will never succeed. Notice how I said they will never succeed until they fix what's wrong with it. So obviously I'm not squashing someone's dream anyone can achieve their dreams but they have to be smart enough to make it work. And neither one of those steps have been done.

Technically there's already restaurants that do that Carl's Junior Hardee's. Owned by the same restaurant but have the same things. Those are not ghost kitchens. My problem with ghost kitchens are there bad service.

I get annoyed by ghost kitchens. I used to like beast burger. Especially the patty melt wanna be with the inverted grilled bun. But quality control at these ghost kitchens are so horrible. I’ve had several mishaps with my order. Twice the sandwich was not grilled which makes it a plain crappy cheeseburger at the level of McDonald’s happy meal. Once it didn’t even have a burger patty. These issues happened at 2 different kitchens running mr beast burgers. I did get my money refunded for that part of the order but I still had to pay for the delivery and the fees which makes up a significant portion of the bill. So I gave up on beast burgers and just buy from jack n the box

This is common in india so to be on safer side order from restaurants you have been to physically.

Pretty sure there's this restaurant listed twice. Either that or someone threw in a competitor restaurant flyer in order....

I picked up a dd order where I always dash in it told me some hotdog place that I never heard of. I saw on the map where it was pinning me that I never heard or saw that restaurant I go to it. It’s a sonoco gas station. I watched him cook it and it looked pretty disgusting I kinda wanted to text the customer but was thinking I could get deactivated somehow
