2015 Video #1--First Hunt of the Year

Howdy Diggers,

We had a slight respite from our arctic weather of late and warmed up enough for the ground to thaw! I was able to get out for 4 hours. This is my first hunt in 2 months. I hunted an empty lot that is slated for construction soon. The house burned down last year and tax records showed it had been built in 1869. Unfortunately the yard had been all bull dozed up so I could only hunt one small corner that was still original. I was able to find my first silver of the year there so it was not a complete skunk!

Nice intro and great 1st hunt. First silver coin is a great start to the year. We are totally locked in with frozen ground and over a foot of snow in New Jersey. You're lucky to able to get out this early. Good luck for 2015! Thanks, Fred
