How do I know Bach's intended tempo for this Allemande (Allemanda) is 63 bpm? Well, I cannot answer that in one or two sentences, but to learn more about how I determined Bach's system of tempo, please go to my Bach tempo blog and read at least Chapter 5 if not also Chapter 6. If you have more time, then the complete book-in-a-blog is required reading!
