And don't forget to take the gimbal cover off before you turn the drone on.

Don't forget to clean your SENSORS too...I saw someone take their drone for a swim because of some dirt on their bottom sensors.

We were all guilty of some of these mistakes at some point. Feels good once you know you have moved on from that stage

You forgot > remember to check your screen ( phone or tablet) and make sure the firmware hasn’t automatically updated and reset back to default settings before you leave the house .because one of the thing it resets is altitude to like 39’ . yup I’m guilty of this and couldn’t remember my password to get in and fix what it did ..

I’ve got one: Do NOT fly your drone if there are a large number of seagulls overhead.

Even a full battery can drain quite quickly in high winds area. My personal experience is bring your drone closer and lower when battery dropped to %20. Sometimes really annoying.

Reading manuals make people think you are a genius. You know things others do not.😁

Basically, by reading your user's manual, you can begin to create a customized pre and post-flight checklist. I wrote mine in Apple Notes. The checklist should have a technical inspection/prep and operations component.

Greg I hope you make a supplement deep dive video for the Mavic 3 Pro. I'll be doing the deep dive on the Mavic 3 once I complete my 107 test monday. That way I'm prepared when my 3pro arrives.

As always a great video and good reminders for new and old pilots.

‘Owner’s Manuals’..and Quick Start Guides are NOT created equal. I got a cheentzy 3-4 page Quick Start Guide with the Air 2S. NOT enough to satisfy me..and “getting online” is a poor excuse for ‘SAVING ‘ paper! Nothing can take the place of a PRINTED copy..

When I was a kid. Some farmers would purchase large equipment with 2 or 3 other farming families. Then split the costs of repair and payments.
