The Leonardo definitely has a quality control issue. The feed should align with the nib. The nib unit unscrews from the section and if you send it back to the vendor they will likely replace it.

That Hongdian looks to be very heavy posted xD I can't imagine writing with that pen posted, but damn it looks very extravagant! I love the smoothness of Leonardo bodies so much! They are smooth but do not feel cheap at all! My feeds on my Leonardo do sometimes misalign, but they are the same with my one Esterbrook that I got, so I think it's a jowo nib + feed issue. The writing isn't compromised, but it may give hard starts sometimes since the feed isn't perfectly aligned. I have yet to ask Leonardo or Esterbrook to remedy that because I find that the feeds are very loose instead of being tight on the nib. Might be something that can be remedied by twisting the feed/nib section from the grip and realigning it.
