The University of York Brass Band perform Victory from Cry of the Celts, composed by Peter Graham.

The University of York Brass Band was founded in the summer of 2009, and continues to grow in numbers every year. They are an approximately 40 strong brass band and currently the largest Brass ensemble at the University.
The Band performs regularly at a variety of events and competes annually at UniBrass, where they placed 3rd in 2013 and 2014, and the Whit Friday march contests in Saddleworth, West Yorkshire.
UYBB came 15th at UniBrass 2016. The University of York is greatly looking forward to hosting UniBrass in 2017.
