In retrospect, I was probably a bit too harsh on the Wacom One. I just got the Wacom Felt Tips, and I was bummed to find that they don't work in the S-Pen (the pen writes even though it is not touching the screen), but they do work in the Wacom One and make that pen significantly better. The button has worn in with time and doesn't bother me nearly as much. It is still my least favorite in the bunch, but it is not nearly as far behind as I hinted in the video.

I bought the Wacom One when this video was initially released. Even though Brandon felt it was his least favorite of the options, I've always enjoyed using the Wacom product line. I still use the stylus and ordered a second one today as a 'backup'. I don't think Wacom makes this anymore, but Amazon still has some in stock and the price is now less than $30. More to the point, this video is more than two years old. if you see this, it's time for an update to the "Perfect Stylus"! :)

I've ordered the Boox Note Air 2, my first eInk tablet, and it's very reassuring to see videos by fellow lefties! With real pens, I tend to have a death grip and press very hard. I prefer pens that are very fluid and glide. Do you have any recommendations for me? (it needs to have an eraser, preferably as a button not an endcap)

Samsung S Pen (S6 Lite) is also my favorite. But there is one big problem : I have never found true replacement nibs for this pen. That's a big drawback...

Hey Brandon, thanks for the video. Do you (or any of the commenters here) know if Wacom's Cintiq styluses will accept Remarkable 2 nibs by any chance? I'm thinking of getting a Remarkable 2, but I'm pretty short on cash, so I'm trying to not buy another stylus, hahah.

hello! I bought the Wacom one after watching that video, thank you so much I love it! That said I'm not able to set up the side button as an eraser on the Remarkable 2, do you have a suggestion on how to do it?

I’ve ordered a Boox Note Air 2 Plus. I wanted the Lumi Max 2 but the glare and slippery feel people keep citing put me off. Maybe the next generation will hit the nail on the head.

I’m currently watching a bunch of videos about styli, but I suspect hearing other people talk about subjective things won’t really compare to actually just trying them out.

Your videos have been very informative and thoughtfully prepared.

Also, “magnet” is not a verb :(

Does onyx boox note air 2 plus has a tilt function like remarkable 2(when i can make wide texture line)? I cant find this feature in many reviews for onyx, and saw it only on remarkable ans kindle scribe

Great video, just what I was looking for. I'm here because I have the following issues with the pen that came with boox air 2 plus:
1. Too long
2. Not magnetic enough. Could fall off when you are on the move.
3. The cap is by far the worst even free pens have better caps.

Surprisingly, only #2 was on the video. Makes me wonder if I am too picky 🤔

The problem with the Boox Air Pen is the main body breaks. I have had 3 in 2 years and they all break the exact same way, which is why I am here.

Hey Brandon great reviews. What nibs are you use with the Samsung spen an supernote? Wacom felt nibs? Thank you for sharing.

Hi! I'm new to your channel. I'm so glad I came across it. I almost bought the remarkable2. Are the notes searchable?

I figured out the S pen eraser, thanks for your reply earlier. Can you tell me how you got your note page to be blank without the bar on the top or on the left? I just got the air 2 plus and I really like it but it feels hard to figure out how to use it. Are there any other resources you recommend to learn about its features and how to customize it? I will mainly be using it for writing notes, maybe reading magazines that I subscribe to, and maybe ‘to do lists’. Thank you!

@BrandonKboswell what replacement nibs do you use? I liked the ones that come with the Boox pen (with eraser) as they have good grip and pencil feel. I tried some others from amazon and were simply too smooth. Looking for good nibs that don't cost the earth! Thanks!

Hey Brandon! I've just discovered your channel and watched this review and your Supernote review. I'm somewhat surprised that you prefer the writing feel on the Boox. Other reviews I've watched and read describe the writing feel on the Boox as very slippery (with its original pen), and resembles the feel of the Apple Pencil on an iPad (which you dislike). Onyx devices are very versatile and some even come with Google play. Those reviews about the slippery feel are the main reason I don't buy one of them. Did you also find the writing with the original Boox pen similar to the Apple pencil on a bare iPad? I'm really interested in your opinion. I currently have an iPad with an AP and I hate the writing feel, even with several paper-like screen protectors applied (including the original PaperLike 2). Does the s-pen make that much of a difference? TIA

Thanks for the video, might also consider fast forwarding your writing examples. Quick question Will newer versions of Samsung pens work? I have one from the tab 7 that looks the same as tab 6 lite

I find that in that upside down orientation (also a lefty), the boox pen sticks to the side better if you align the magnets a little lower. it ain't centered anymore but sticks well.

Or I stick it to the upper right area of the screen. that's also the sensor for the magnetic cover. So the pen can somehow "dock" there when i'm done writing, and the screen turns off. if I want to start writing again, i just take the pen and the screen turns on. saves the power button wear and tear.
