Показать описание
The zebra midge is a great winter and early spring pattern to use when midges are the primary source of food for trout. This pattern was created by a fishing guide named Ted Wellings who guided on the Colorado River in Arizona sometime around 1996. The original recipe called for black thread, gold bead and gold wire but there are endless variations of the pattern that are tied today. The most common color combinations are black and silver, red and gold, and olive and copper. They can be tied anywhere between sizes 16 and 20 but can go down to even a size 24.

Materials list:

Hook: Size 20 scud/emerger hook

Bead: 2.0 mm bead (silver)

Body: Black 70 denier thread

Ribbing: Size small ultra wire (silver)
