One Feature Every Smartphone Should Copy!

In samsung if u click the time on lock screen, u get a voice recorder button where you can record anyone without them knowing and without unlocking the phone 🤫

When u want to click that record button you need to come back to homescreen from calling screen, where miui and samsung has record button in native dialer 😂

Samsung has it as well.. my A33 has a built in call recorder which doesn't send any beeps or announcement.

Previously it was available to every smartphone even with automatic record option… Nowadays it feels like a rare fossil kind of thing.

In India now, recording calls in illegal, bcz it is now considered breach of privacy ( If the other persons consent isn't taken)

Samsung is even better. It allows user to record all the calls on Micro Sd with caller's ID. So that if you ever decided to use a call recording as a proof of crime. You won't have to submit your phone for verification. Just submitting microSd will sufficr. And for those who think why not submit a copy of the file in a pen drive, be aware of the fact that, " for verification police asks for the original memory, i.e., memory on which the file was originally created. So Not a copy"

I do actually agree with you regards this feature and I do use it a lot. However, in all samsung phones that got update it for the first One UI will support the same feature of recording calls without the other person is knowledge. It's worth mention that this feature is illegal in most of the countries in the world😅

That's not just a widget. The system would record the internal audio through something under the hood.
They just made a widget because making an entire app would take so much time.

It's creepy at the same time if someone records you without you knowing. Definitely a double edged sword.
