Leaving your phone charging overnight won't affect the battery, iOS 9 has a system service that stops charger wen the phone hits 100%... :)

Sure I will get up at 4 am on a daily basis to unplug my phone.

You can't overcharge an charging it overnight every night does not harm battery at all. Your iPhone will stop charging once it reaches 100%

Everyone! If you are turning on your phone anywhere outside of home! Don’t enter your passcode! Use the Touch ID

Apple devices don’t overcharge... they use some of the most complex power management technology out there, therefore they don’t overcharge.

Super helpful tips and tricks! Does the forced quit really use more battery life? My son literally has like 20+ open at any time and it seems his battery life is super short!

Overcharging is a misconception. On newer iOS's, the battery stops taking in electricity at 100% and the electricity is used to show the display

You don't force quit for the battery. You do it for data

This review certainly needs to be updated, I read from Apple trusted source that the new Ios is capable to avoid the battery from overcharging.

Leaving your phone plugged in after it’s charged is false. The battery is smart enough to automatically stop receiving charge when it’s full.

Overcharging batteries is a total MYTH and hasn't really been a problem for many years. Almost every battery and/or charger is designed to stop charging when it needs to.

I “always” ALWAYS charge my iphone 5 overnight but it does not harm my iphone .. you should try it before you share it .. not just thinking 🤔 and sharing without experience

Sure you can turn off Auto-Brightness feature but what you lose is the automatic and practical assistance of saving battery life. Because the phone automatically can turn brightness up and down according to environment, having it set to a fixed value makes you miss that functionality. The features IS there to make you save battery because you move around to different light sources, it's not a stationary computer on your desk at home.
