The easy way to dynamic drums – random samples with Squarp Rample

Samples can be a powerful tool when performing with a compact modular system, or when jamming in the studio. In this video I use the Squarp instruments Rample to show a specific trick with random and rotating samples. It’s great for dynamic drums and melodic variations.

The Rample looks like a great Module! For now ill stick with my octatrack for sampling. Im doing similar stuff on it, but if i ever want a Sampler in my case ill get the rample. Nice video:-)

This is great, lots of great ideas here. I've been using Rample as my primary percussion source for quite a while now. What I find the most frustrating is that it takes a lot of work to set up kits, and while some of the things you're doing here turn out great, it sometimes feels like setting up a complex kit that way for one song, or patch, or "kind" of patch, is too much. Not sure there's a good alternative though.

Nice setup! I accomplish pretty much the same with the Bitbox micro and sample chains. Lovely synth and chord samples at the end. Any samples packs you can recommend?

Question: if I wanted to randomize all four samples at the press of a button (or flick of a switch, etc), would that be possible to patch?

awesome stuff, but i have an issue. i load my own kit, and despite all files are correct size nothing ever triggers on gate 3... any ideas ? thanks
