I am supporting the Z-gen 100% Work-Life-Balance, there's only a thin line between work slavery, someone should not have so much power to email you during weekend or after hours. Employees deserve and should demand a good work culture. You too as should be responsible!

Work-life balance is first of all a duty for the company or management to keep its production force healthy and sustained. If management goes too cheap and comes up with a poor work plan, poor resource assignment and management then workers are all obliged to work longer, then lose their life. This reporter is saying as if work-life balance is something individual worker is entirely responsible for.. that sounds very wrong.

I have had bosses that have called me in the middle of the night because they were in Africa on vacation and could not get good internet. Somehow I was suppose to fix it for them. I put up with this for 3 years. Then got so sick of it like actually sick. I quit because of the stress. Soon after my ex-wife left me for quitting. But now I have a much better life, and a much better wife.

The amount of hate being spewed in the comments is the sad, jealous, hostile reality we are living in. And wonder why young people feel bad at work...

Got to be the best, the smartest, and always at the beck and call. Or the company will replace you.

People don't want to address what is happening in hc to all their resources until sadly it affects them...I wish they would pay attention to real hcw and their burnout over decades because it is so tragic and disturbing...I guess they will soon when they dont have any good ones left...The anthem for the good ones leaving is " i'm out" due to my lack of mental peace and/or PTSD.

What else do you expect if you're going to write your core values on a card & put it in your WALLET, of all places??

A lot of older aged black women will not make it this upcoming winter in the Midwest due to the lack of upkeep of their homes furnaces.

The Instagram feeds of Millennials and Gen Z are packed with exotic travel destinations, sold-out concerts and other expensive once-in-a-lifetime experiences.

Perhaps its the wallet-draining "Life" side of Work-Life thats a bit out of balance and causing the most stress.

Young people sacrifice potential career progress for the sake of free time that they then spend on the internet instead of actually touching some grass.
