Awesome ! At last I found something sensible and realistic here on YouTube. You have exactly the same philosophy as me . I've seen your videos and you are super good at explaining, I'm almost a bit jealous : p . Your clients are super lucky. By the way, I always start puppy classes/privat lessons by going around to the clients with the trash bin so they can toss their flexi leads(I call dogs that uses flexi leads, "yoyo-dogs")

Great advice. My two rescues were prolific pullers. It's just how they'd learned to walk on a leash in their old lives.
The drill has now become - tension on leash, return to me, wait, release. The reward has now become the release to continue. Success comes by enforcing it every single time pulling occurs. I'm down to 2-5 incidents of pulling on a one hour long walk from non-stop pulling throughout. The only aversive being leash pressure that is released as soon as they turn towards me.
