Rubio put it well: If he had been honest about his intentions when he applied for the visa, we wouldn't have given him one.

A green card is literally not citizen ship. It is a privilege that can be revoked.

A green card is a privilege not a right.

Rioting, property destruction, and physical intimidation are not hallmarks of a redress of grievances, but of revolution.

"we're going to be the nightmare here..." he should have been kicked out immediately at that time

If he hates the US and loves the middle east, what's his objection?

As an American, it’s infuriating that this is even a question. I can’t imagine being a guest in another country, engaging in disruptive political activity, and NOT being immediately deported. I wouldn’t even think it appropriate to so much as mildly criticize the government while I was there. Liberalism is the west’s poison pill.

All I know is when I'm a guest in someone else's country I keep my mouth shut.

I am so tired of people acting like deportation is the worse thing that can be done to a person who has legitimately violated the laws of any sovereign state or the agreement of their visa that has allowed them the privilege to live in/enter the country they are actively disrespecting. If he is directly supporting groups declared to terrorist organizations he’s lucky that he wasn’t taken to Guantanamo Bay or El Salvador.
I have never thought of deportation as the worst possible circumstance when I have traveled because it isn’t. In Russia you are more likely to be sent to a work camp north of the Arctic circle, in China disappeared into some unknown prison with no illusions of ever receiving a trial, or in Morocco to the other Africans they catch trying to get to Europe getting dumped in the middle of the Sahara. Deportation is largely a Western civilized nicety not the norm everywhere else and it is maddening to think otherwise.

Imagine allowing a stranger into your home and having that stranger abuse your civility, make disparaging remarks about you and saying that despite your hospitality, you and your civilisation should actually be eradicated. And that he should be allowed to say all that because its a free country. And because he deserves all the perks, protection and leeway you give your family. A stranger! Expecting to stir up trouble, behave worse and say things far worse than your family members would ever dream of, but demands the EXACT same compassion, freedoms and understanding you would have for family members. The entitlement of that! Its not much to ask to not get involved with such disturbances and not spew anti American rhetoric.

A green card is a privilege. There is no right to stay in America. His green card was under student status. He graduated, and he has no authority to stay in America beyond that. In any case, he's not a citizen. He can be removed for any reason.

Why is he in America if he consideres Palestinians "his people" ?

He was distributing flyers printed by Hamas themselves (a proscribed organisation in the UK), and his organisation said its goal was the fall of western civilisation. It's not a question of anti-Semitism.. I'm surprised you guys haven't grasped this.

This man was more worried about his activism than his wife and kid... remember what our border zar said "families can be deported together." Bye ahkmool.

As someone who at various points in my life held a student visa to the US, then a Green Card through marriage and now is a naturalized citizen of the US, a GC is not a license to just do whatever you want and be a subversive agent. It can be revoked at any time as you are still considered a guest. The US immigration system is EXTREMELY generous. But it is nice to see someone finally putting a foot down. My only issue with this is that i am not happy about Middle Eastern conflicts being played out in the country and funded at all by the US. Let them fight it out.

My dad never did any paperwork after getting a green card and when he assaulted someone after a car accident in the 90s was at risk of deportation to Italy. This dude beyond deserves deportation
